Recently Blackwater, USA has undergone many changes, for example a new owner for the corporation and even a new identity, Xe Services.
Blackwater, USA was developed in 1997, by Erik Prince and partner Al Clark, as a personal army business. Now the organization is the leader as the biggest of the U.S. State Department’s three non-public security contractors. Some of their activities include security services in Iraq to help assist the United Country’s government. The present President and the whole Obama Administration honored Xe Services with a quarter of a million dollar contract for their work with both the state Department and CIA in Afghanistan. Though Mr. Prince and Mr. Clark sold the business, Xe Services, LLC. still provides work all though the U. S..
Prince stated in the making of his company, “We are attempting to do for national security apparatus what FedEx did for the Postal Services.” After the bombing of the USS Cole in October of 2000, Blackwater secured their first contract and was tasked to train over 100,000 sailors safely. Now, Blackwater’s mission is to provide coaching for army support and law enforcement affiliations.
The United States has hired the company for many uses. Blackwater was among the few personal parties selected to help in the capture of the famous Osama bin Laden as well as the Iraq invasion. They will be accountable for the guidance of the new Iraqi police and league forces.
