Visit amzn.to Detailed Features Elegant, Easy-to-Use E-Reader Lose Yourself in Your Reading The most elegant feature of a physical book is that it disappears while you’re reading. Immersed in the author’s world and ideas, you don’t notice a book’s glue, the stitching, or ink. Our top design objective is to make Kindle disappear — just like a physical book — so you can get lost in your reading, not the technology. Ergonomic Design Kindle is easy to hold and read. We designed our e-reader with long-form reading in mind. When reading for long periods of time, people naturally shift positions and often like to read with one hand. Kindle’s page-turning buttons are located on both sides, allowing you to read and turn pages from any position. Precise 5-Way Controller Kindle has an easy-to-use 5-way controller, enabling precise on-screen navigation for selecting text to highlight or looking up words.

Amazon Kindle Lighted Leather Cover, Black (does not fit Kindle Touch or Kindle Keyboard)

Amazon’s Kindle Lighted Leather Cover

Protect and Illuminate Your Kindle

Our sleek, form-fitted leather cover was designed to be the perfect companion for Kindle. The premium leather exterior looks and feels great, while the soft microfiber interior protects your device from scuffs and scratches. No matter where you take your Kindle, you’ll never be without illumination thanks to the integrated reading light. Our innovative design allows the built-in LED light to draw its power from Kindle, so no batteries are required.

Never Be Without a Light

An integrated LED reading light lets you read comfortably anytime, anywhere. The high-quality LED light is designed specifically for Kindle’s paper-like display, adding brightness without adding glare.

A permanent part of the cover, the reading light is located just above your Kindle and is optimally positioned to provide an even light across the screen. When needed, simply flip the light out and it automatically illuminates, eliminating the need for a separate power switch. To turn the light off, just snap it back into place or close the cover. Since the light draws its power from Kindle, no batteries are needed.

Using Your Lighted Cover

How It Works

Our innovative cover interfaces seamlessly with your Kindle, securing your device while providing easy access to all controls and connections. Two small connectors draw power from the device to power the attached light.

Our cover is designed specifically for the latest generation Kindle and secures your device without any hinges or straps. Simply place your Kindle into the form-fitted interior of the cover and then gently press the device into place.

Read Comfortably with One Hand

Reading with the cover on, you can easily access Kindle’s navigation features and buttons, while the rounded edges offer a perfect fit in your hands. The reading light is easily accessible when the cover is open and the cover is designed to fold back, so you can read comfortably with just one hand.

On the Go

Thin, lightweight, and durable, this cover is perfect for taking Kindle wherever you go. The stylish, genuine leather exterior and form-fitting interior provide ultimate fit and protection. You’ll also never be without a reading light, and since the light draws its power from Kindle, no batteries are needed.

Amazon's official Kindle leather lighted cover

Amazon’s official Kindle lighted leather cover features a genuine leather exterior and microfiber interior, and comes in four different colors.

AMAZON UK DISCOUNT LINK www.amazon.co.uk Customer Reviews: “When I recieved a kindle keyboard 3G Kindle Keyboard 3G, Free 3G + Wi-Fi, 3G Works Globally, 6″ E Ink Display as a gift I loved that I could input text directly instead of having to use a four-way selector as I would with the new kindle wifi, but I still found the experience ‘clunky’ and very dated. I also found having to zoom and move when reading pdf’s a real chore and in the end sent it back.As a replacement I ordered the new Sony PRS-T1 Sony PRS-T1 Wi-Fi eBook Reader With Superior Paper Like Display Colour BLACK; WOW! what a difference, a slick, well thought out and much more user friendly experience. The touch screen is intuitive, responsive and a real pleasure when compared to either of the kindles. The touch keyboard is actually faster and more responsive than the real keyboard on the kindle and the whole experience is just so much more satisfying. The down side and the reason for only 4 stars out of 5 is that it doesn’t accept the Amazon *.AWZ or *.mobi formats when they are secured using DRM which makes it a little more difficult to get Amazon books on than a kindle, but this is changing all the time and there are alternative stores and other ways around it. (this also applies the other way round too; you can’t read *.epub documents on kindles)In summary, an amazing piece of technology and leaps and bounds ahead of the kindles but make sure you know what ebooks are compatible before you buy and you won’t
