How to make old, ugly dirty flats into new flats. Styles change, and shoes get dirty… so make them like new. I used light blue linen and a cream lace. Hope you like it. I dont own the music. One of my favorite TV stations is the Travel channel. I used to watch it all the time as a little girl and dreamt of visiting these faraway places. Thailand has been a place I had been wanting to visit for the longest time and I was able to fulfill this dream this past summer. We stayed 5 days in paradise where we rode on elephants, saw white tigers, rode on oxes…it was surreal…and I was of course inspired… Beaded fringe Materials -Beads -Scissors -Fringe -Tweezers You can use different types of fringe w/ different materials…but I found this one at a furniture tapestry store. The key here is to use colorful beads so that it looks more tropical. Once we’re ready to tie in the beads, you can use a tweezer to help string the beads. Also, you can use water at the end of the string to easily control the threading process. Once the beads are strung, tie a knot and cut off the ends. You can thin out the fringe if necessary to make the beads more visible. I like to attach a jewelry hook on both ends. This way you can easily wear this piece over and over again. It’s as simple as that! Cheetah print For our second DIY, we applied animal print on shoes, specifically the cheetah print. Materials -Leather samples and cheetah print -Black, Gold/Silver paint markers As a test run, I recommend testing the markers on a material so that you can get comfortable with the markers and drawing the cheetah print.
