After an introduction by Ann Druyan, including the benefits of the end of the Cold War, Carl Sagan opens the program with a description of the cosmos and a “Spaceship of the Imagination” (shaped like a dandelion seed). The ship journeys through the universes’ hundred billion galaxies, the Local Group, the Andromeda Galaxy, the Milky Way, the Orion Nebula, our Solar System, and finally the planet Earth. Eratosthenes’ attempt to calculate the circumference of Earth leads to a description of the ancient Library of Alexandria. Finally, the “Ages of Science” are described, before pulling back to the full span of the Cosmic Calendar. Olympus D-400 1.2MP Digital Camera

This big brother of the Olympus D-340L might, at first glance, appear quite similar, but its extra features will impress any photographer looking for a serious point-and-shoot digital camera. The D-400 Zoom has a 3x optical zoom and a 2x digital telephoto mode that together produce a 6x enlargement capability. It has two quick-focus settings at 8 feet and infinity. The burst mode allows up to 10 images at half- second intervals, and the panorama-stitching mode locks the exposure and allows panorama shots either horizontally or vertically. Like the D-340L, the D-400 stores 60 images at standard resolution, and its super-high-quality resolution is 1280 x 960, but it’s also capable of storing two images as uncompressed TIFF files–a feature that will win the hearts of digital graphics geeks. Image inspection and editing via the LCD monitor is enhanced by the 3x image inspection mode–great for checking out detail–and by the ability to review images in groups of 1, 4, 9, or 16. The sharp autofocus, excellent automatic white balancing, and four-mode, pop-up flash mean you won’t have many “mistake” shots–the clarity and editing features ensure that you save only the best. So whether you’re already a great photographer, or just want to become one, the Olympus D- 400 Zoom is a camera you’ll love. –Barrie Trinkle

Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?: A Rock ‘n’ Roll Memoir

“I’ve been mythicized, Mick-icized, eulogized and fooligized, I’ve been Cole-Portered and farmer’s-daughtered, I’ve been Led Zepped and 12-stepped. I’m a rhyming fool and so cool that me, Fritz the Cat, and Mohair Sam are the baddest cats that am. I have so many outrageous stories, too many, and I’m gonna tell ‘em all. All the unexpurgated, brain-jangling tales of debauchery, sex & drugs, transcendence & chemical dependence you will ever want to hear.”

The son of a classical pianist straight out of the Bronx of old Archie comics, Steven Tyler was born to be a rock star. Weaned on Cole Porter, Nat King Cole, Mick—and his beloved Janis Joplin—Tyler began tearing up the streets and the stage as a teenager before finally meeting his “mutant twin” and legendary partner Joe Perry. In this addictively readable memoir, told in the playful, poetic voice that is uniquely his own, Tyler unabashedly recounts the meteoric rise, fall, and rise of Aerosmith over the last three decades and riffs on the music that gives it all meaning.

Tyler tells what it’s like to be a living legend and the frontman of one of the world’s most revered and infamous bands—the debauchery, the money, the notoriety, the fights, the motels and hotels, the elevators, limos, buses and jets, the rehab. He reveals the spiritual side that “gets lost behind the stereotype of the Sex Guy, the Drug Guy, the Demon of Screamin’, the Terror of the Tropicana.” And he talks about his epic romantic life and his relationship with his four children. As dazzling, bold, and out-on-the-edge as the man himself, Does the Noise in My Head Bother You? is an all-access backstage pass into this extraordinary showman’s life.

Part 1 of my overdue update after 3 months of not doing anything. This first part and the whole second part are all blu-ray. Please let me know what you think. BTW, about my last video where I burned that shirt. If I offended anyone, I apologize. I agree that it was very stupid of me to upload that video. I don’t regret doing what I did to the shirt one bit, but it was dumb to upload it on here. I hope none of you are mad. I promise I’m not an evil person like how I acted in that video. Anyway, enjoy the update.

The Andy Griffith Show: The Complete Series

Down-home humor and an endearing cast of characters helped to make The Andy Griffith Show one of the most beloved comedies in the history of television. Introduced as a spinoff from The Danny Thomas Show in 1960, The Andy Griffith Show ran for eight seasons in prime time. Widower Andy Taylor divides his time between raising his young son, Opie, and his job as sheriff (and Justice of the Peace) of the sleepy North Carolina town, Mayberry. Andy and Opie live with Andy’s Aunt Bee, who serves as a surrogate mother to both father and son. Andy’s nervous cousin, Barney Fife, is his deputy sheriff whose utter incompetence is tolerated because Mayberry is virtually crime-free.

Fish Tank – Something Whiskered This Way Comes

“The storylines careen from near-disaster to nearer-disaster as Ted [(a super-genius goldfish)], Angelo (a narcissist angelfish) and Hoover (a bottom-feeder — and proud of it — out for himself) start out with what seems like an ordinary situation and quickly find all rationality going out the window.” – Gary Tyrrell, Fleen.com

“It’s fun.” – Delos Woodruff, ArtPatient.com

Fish Tank follows the exploits of three aquarium fish who are not only tank mates but close friends (although some of them may not admit it).

Ted is a super-genius goldfish with lots of ideas, inventions and a thirst for adventure, usually with disastrous consequences.

Angelo is a self-absorbed angelfish and Ted’s sometimes reluctant sidekick.

Hoover is the bottom-feeding algae-eating plecostamus who wants nothing more than to be left out of Ted’s ideas and given some peace.

Fish Tank – Something Whiskered This Way Comes is the second volume in a series that chronicles their outrageous exploits (originally a web comic from 2006 to 2008).

In this story, a cat has come to stay at the house and the fish are rightly alarmed. Their nemesis makes no secret of the fact that it is out to kill all three of them and they quickly decide to get it first. Who will prevail in this fight to the finish?
